3D Wall Panel

D.O.C: 01.2025

This piece is constructed of Meranti 4x4 cut-offs adhered to a stained plywood backing and maple frame with Meranti mitre splines built around it and a french cleat integrated to support the weight.

The placement of the cut-offs was random, and they have varying depths and a 5° angle to their faces. When viewed from close or far, there is a vast amount of depth and detail, and as you move around the piece, the light catches the different angles.

Using otherwise waste material, this panel adds warmth to the space it is in and acts as an acoustic panel due to its density and uneven texture.
