BUNK HOUSE

D.O.C: 11.2024 (Peripherals to be completed still)

This Bunk house was designed and built by me for a

private client. It is constructed of roughsawn fir

lumber, fir plywood, SPF lumber for internal framing,

and rigid foam insulation.

Being heavily inspired by traditional Japanese

joinery, I used as little fasteners as possible and

incorporated draw pins to hold through tenons and

half-lap joints together on the timber frame. I also

custom designed and built the windows from scratch,

and implemented ISPs (insulated structural panel)

for the walls by my design.

To be completed still is a deck and stairs, along

with privacy louvers and interior furnishings.
